Who doesn’t love the nourishing benefits of shea butter? Derived from a naturally occurring plant-based substance, shea butter moisturizes, soothes, and protects skin. It’s also been shown to reduce inflammation. Our 'Save the Honey Bee' soap perfectly combines shea butter’s many benefits into a soap with a purpose.

A fresh and woodsy aroma with an intriguing sweet smell of honey that is grounding and creates a balance within. The delightful aroma comes from an infusion of 15 natural essential oils including orange sweet, eucalyptus, pine, clove bud, guaiacwood, lemon, elemi, galbanum, clary sage, lavandin, olibanum, petitgrain, geranium, cedarwood, and carrot seed.  You've got to try this one!

This 4.25 ounce soap comes shrink-wrapped and a dollar from each Save the Bees soap goes towards efforts to help protect our honey bees - thank you for your love of our honey bees 🐝

Details... Details... Here is the list of ingredients with detailed information (because we want you to know what is in your soap and not to scare you with scientific names):

  • Glycerin - a natural plant-based, moisturizing humectant for soap that draws moisture from the air to your skin to help keep skin hydrated.
  • Aqua - water, typically used as a carrier for the ingredients and evaporates out completely by the end of the soap making process.
  • Sodium Stearate - neutralized fatty acid, derived from plants, used to make a hard bar of soap.
  • Sorbitol - a humectant that adds moisturizing benefits to the soap and helps draw moisture from the air to your skin to help keep skin hydrated - a water-soluble compound is found naturally in some fruits, including apples, apricots, dates, berries, peaches, plums, and figs
  • Sodium Oleate - neutralized fatty acid, derived from plants, that helps with cleansing and prevents the bar from becoming too hard.
  • Butyrospermum Parkii -  (Shea Butter)
  • Sodium Laurate - neutralized, plant-derived fatty acid that adds to the lather ability of soap.
  • Sodium Myristate - neutralized fatty acid that increases lather and makes soap harder - occurs naturally in vegetable fats and oils with relatively high levels found in nutmeg, palm oil, and coconut oil.
  • Sodium Chloride - salt, used to increase hardness and lather.
  • Sodium Citrate - synonym for Citric Acid, naturally found in citrus fruits, used to balance the pH level of the soap to prevent it from becoming too harsh and drying.
  • Titanium Dioxide - a fine white powder that occurs naturally to make the soap base white.
  • Pentasodium Pentetate - a salt compound, chelating agent that helps pick up free metal ions in water, improving the soap’s lather and preventing them from damaging your skin or soap.
  • Tetrasodium Etidronate - a salt compound, chelating agent that helps pick up free metal ions in water, improving the soap’s lather and preventing them from damaging your skin or soap.
  • Essential Oils - plant derived fragrance oils to give your soap a wonderful aroma.
